Provenance
The manuscript was sent from Ethiopia in 1868 by Knight ; it thus either belongs to the manuscripts looted by the British Napier expedition in 1868 from the church of Madḫāne ʿAlam↗ or was acquired by a member of the expedition between Sanʿāfe↗ and Maqdalā↗ . It was purchased by the Bodleian Library↗ in 1883.
