History
history: Bur was a large historical region, across the present Ethio-Eritrean border. It was divided into upper Bur and lower Bur. Its territory covers parts of ʿAgāma↗ , the entire Akkälä Guzay↗ and lands further to the east, including perhaps Buri↗ . In the first half of the 15th century, Bur↗ seems to have been ruled by a ?, whom ʾaṣe role: office ↗ Zarʾa Yāʿqob↗ put under the supermacy of the ? along with the governor of Šire↗ , Ḥamāsen↗ and Sarāye↗ .
