General description
The Maṣḥafa ṭomār narrates how a letter urging the people to respect the Sunday rest appeared outside a Church of Rome in which the patriarch Athanasius celebrated mass.
There exists a short version (most frequent) and a long version, the latter begins with መጽሐፈ፡ ጦማር፡ ዘወረደትት፡ እምሰማይ፡ ላዕለ፡ እደ፡ አትናቴዎስ
