A miniature illustrating Miracle of Mary: Miracle of the leprous Bishop Mercurius typically with as a sequence of five episodes/events, showing: first, the leprous bishop standing before the sitting patriarch and showing him his leprosy; second, the bishop praying before the icon of the Virgin and Child; third the bishop showing himself healed to his student; fourth, the bishop showing himself healed to the patriarch; and fifth, the healed bishop distributing the Eucharist.
