Origin
Original Location: Ṣabalā Dabra Gannat Māryām↗
According to the colophon, the main codicological unit of the Ms. ( Codicological Unit p3 ) was written in 250 year of mercy (= 1674 A.D.). It could be dated back also to 1598 A.D. (if the date is calculated according to the cicle of martyrs); this earlier date would better match the palaeographic features attested for hand a. Quire II ( Codicological Unit p2 ) is of much more recent time (first half of the 20th cent., cp. dated Ms. BMQM-004 written by the same hand). check the viewer90 and 91 (with miniatures), originating from a different codex (?), probably date back to the 17th cent.Summary
