16th century Some palaeographical features: ሎ has the loop marking the 7th order attached directly to the body of the letter, without the linking line; letters ቆ, ቶ, ዐ, የ, ደ, ጸ, and ፀ have angular shapes; the lower stroke of ፭ is longer and slanted to the top; ፮ has the loop open, looking like "compressed" ፯; ፴ has reversed shape.
