He is credited with the foundation of the monastery of Dabra Bankʷal↗ , near ʾAksum↗ during the reign of King Sayfa ʾArʿad↗ . It is also reported that King Sayfa ʾArʿad↗ visited him and richly endowned the monastery Dabra Bankʷal↗ with lands in Tǝgray↗
