Origin
18th century According to the colophon on check the viewerpp. 141va , the original owner was Walda Kiros patron and the scribe was Gadla Giyorgis scribe . The following family members of Walda Kiros patron are mentioned: his father Ḥǝzqǝyās , his mother ʾƎbrāwit , and his brother ʾAwkātewos . The name of one further brother or sister has been erased.
Provenance
At an unknown point in time, Axel B. Svensson owner aquired the manuscript. He subsequently donated the manuscript to Archbishop Erling Eidem owner on 15 September 1948 , according to a type-written note that—at least when the manuscript was catalogued by Oscar Anders Valfrid Löfgren —was kept together with the manuscript.
Acquisition
In 1964 , Erling Eidem bequeather donated the manuscript to its current repository (see Löfgren 1974).
