18th cent? In Additio 1, the name of the king has been erased. The name of the king probably consisted of some 4-5 letters: ኢዮአሰ or ዮሰጦሰ.Provenance
Original names of donors have been erased and sometimes replaced with that of Wälätta Śǝllāse (e.g., check the viewer20va , 24rb) in Additio 1 and the supplication formulas on check the viewer3ra-113vb (hand a). good
Condition
The Ms. is worn and shows traces of intensive use. Many fols. are stained with wax and dirt. The Ms. has probably been rebound and resewn. The spine cover is missing, most probably cut off to facilitate the resewing. The sewing is damaged and crudely repaired. Traces of an overback are preserved on the inner side of both boards. check the viewer115-118 are of smaller size.

Two wooden boards covered with reddish-brown tooled leather (spine cover missing). Two pairs of sewing stations.

Small holes and tears are visible on the spine fold of the quires, close to the head and tail of the codex.
