The name of King ʾIyasu is mentioned in check the viewer17va l.1, 7; 27rb l.15, 27va l.5, 28rb l.8. He might be either ʾIyasu I (r. 1682-1706) or ʾIyasu II (r. 1730-55). If the scribe is Za-Walda Māryām, who lived around mid 18th cent., then the Ms. was produced in the reign of ʾIyasu II.Summary

The front and back boards are partly missing. The spine cover is missing. Threads attaching the board to the text block are loosened. In some places sewing threads are untied or cut. The first and the last fols. of the codex are slightly damaged. Numerous fols. are stained with water and wax.

Two wooden boards (30% of the front and 60% of the back is left). Two pairs of sewing stations.

Holes are partly visible on the back fold of the quire, two close to the head, two close to the tail of the codex.
