The back board is broken. The spine cover is partly detached, crudely sewn to the back leather cover. Holes or teras carefully amended on several folios: e.g. check the viewer26 , 31, 49, 52, 80, 122, 156, 161, 176, 193.
Binding
Two wooden boards (the back board is broken) covered with reddish-brown tooled leather. Two pairs of sewing stations.
Binding decoration
Small holes are visible in the centre fold of the quires, close to the head and tail of the codex. Quires A is reinforced by parchment guards.
