However, the dates are not consistent: 7247 year of the world (= 1755 A.D.) was a year of Luke and Takla Giyorgis reigned for six periods from 1779 to 1800.

Condition
The Ms. shows traces of extensive use. The leather cover is missing on the outer side of both boards and on part of the inner side of the front board. Remains of glues are preserved on the inner side of the front board. The spine cover is missing, probably cut off to facilitate resewing. The front board is broken and has been repaired with a modern thread. The sewing is badly damaged and has been crudely repaired with several modern synthetic threads. Many leaves are severely stained with water with the loss of text (e.g., check the viewer22r , 28v, 32v, 35r Text is illegible or barely legible due to faded ink, e.g., on check the viewer13r , 35r, 44v ff. 1, 4, 46, 48, 51, 53, 100, 104, 106, 109, 111 are undersized. Tear amended on check the viewer37 .

Two wooden boards internally covered with reddish-brown tooled leather (the front board broken and repaired). Two pairs of sewing stations.
