: ይትባረክ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዘአፈጸመኒ፡ ጽሒፈ፡ ዝንቱ፡ መጽሐፍ፡ ለኃጥእ፡ ገብሩ፡ ወልደ፡ አረጋዊ፡ ወተፈጸመ፡ በ፲ወ፱፻፲ወ፫፡ ዓመተ፡ ምሕረት፡ በዘመነ፡ ዮሐንስ፡ በወርኀ፡ ኅዳር። According to the colophon the Ms. was written by Walda ʾAragāwi who completed the work in the month of Ḫǝdār in 1913 year of mercy, in the year of John the Evangelist (= 1920 A.D.).

Condition
The Ms. is affected by humidity. The spine cover is damaged. The sewing has been damaged and crudely repaired with a recent synthetic thread. A few words and passages are illegible due to smeared ink: check the viewer4rb , 6vb, 7r, 11va, 38vb. Holes are carefully amended in check the viewer26 , 56, 66, 72.

Two wooden boards covered with reddish-brown tooled leather; textile inlays. Two pairs of sewing stations.

Small holes are visible on the spine fold of the quires, one close to the head and one close to the tail of the codex.
