The Ms. consists of one quire. The boards are missing. The original sewing is torn off. The quires were roughly resewn. The bifolium 4-5 is sewn together from two single leafs; it was probably inserted later. f. 5 is damaged at the right upper edge and fol. 8 all around. check the viewer1rv is affected by humidity, so part of the text is not fully legible.

Fine, regular hand of the 15th century (?) .Archaic features: (1) angular forms of some letters as መ ዐ (2) the tops of መ ወ ሠ በ are slightly slanted to the left (3) መ has the loops of triangular shape, not completely separated (e.g. check the viewer1v l.2) (4) ሎ has the 7th order marker attached directly at the body of the letter, without linking line (e.g. check the viewer1v , l.6) (5) the numerals are without dashes above and below (6) ፬ is triangular and downwards oriented (e.g., check the viewer2v ) (7) ፮ is with the loop open, looking like a “compressed” ፯ (e.g., check the viewer2v ) (8) ፪ has the loops, closed, not separated (e.g., check the viewer2v ).Spelling features: (1) in the tables of Text I, “Sane” is written as “Sanǝy” (ሰንይ) (check the viewer3r ) and “Naḥāse” as “Naḥāsi” (ነሓሲ) (check the viewer3v ); (2) in the miniatures, ሥዕለ is written as ስዕለ. (3)In the tables of Text II, most of the numerals have the Amharic siffix -ኛ (check the viewer2v-3v , check the viewer6r ). In the miniatures, the legends are written in the same hand as the main text.
Ink: Black; red (brilliant vermillion).
