: ዝንቱ፡ መጽሐፍ፡ ዘስሙ፡ ፍትሐ፡ ነገሥት። ዘአጽሐፈቶ፡ በንዋያ፡ ወይዘሮ፡ ወለተ፡ ሚካኤል፡ ብእሲቱ፡ ለስሑል፡ ሚካኤል፡ ርእሰ፡ መኳንንት፡ በትፍጻሜተ፡ ሢመቱ፡ እምቅድመ፡ ሞቱ፡ በ፬፡ አውራኅ። በዳግማዊ፡ ዓመተ፡ ምንግሥቱ፡ ለንጉሥነ፡ ተክለ፡ ጊዮርጊስ፡ በዘመነ፡ ዮሐንስ፡ ወንጌላዊ። ወወሀበቶ፡ ለደብረ፡ ዳሞ፡ መካነ፡ አቡነ፡ አረጋዊ። እንዘ፡ ሀሎ፡ ሥዩመ፡ በዕብሬቱ፡ አቡነ፡ ክፍለ፡ ሥላሴ፡ በከዊነ፡ መምህር፡ ወኖላዊ። … The colophon states that wayzaro Walatta Giyorgis, wife of rās Mikāʾel “Sǝḥul” (ca. 1691-1777), commissioned the book in the 2nd year of reign of King Takla Giyorgis (= 1780 A.D.), four months before the death of her husband, in the year of John the Evangelist (cp. ChChron 169), and donated it to Dabra Dāmmo during the tenure of abbot ʾAbuna Kǝfla Śǝllāse.

The Ms. has been resewn with a modern synthetic thread. The spine cover is missing, probably cut off to facilitate resewing. Tears amended on check the viewer78 , 84, 85, 91, 92, 126.
