Scribal intervention: words of text are written interlinearly (folss. 2v, 5r, 13v, 15v, , etc.); lines of text are written interlinearly (6r, 13v, 26r, 36v, , etc.); lines of text are written in the upper margin with a symbol (┴) marking the location where the text is to be inserted ( f. 121r, col. 2, line 11 ); erasure markings are visible (64r, 72v, ); text has been removed (e.g., 3r, 35v, 69r )
-
f. 64r, lines 13–15 text is circled to signal its erasure to correct homoeoteleuton
-
The scribe regularly has to complete a line of text on another line. Much of the problem is addressed through the selection of an appropriate aspect ratio for the codex combined with an appropriate script size. But, where the line of text is still too long, the scribe completes the line of text above or below the end of the line (throughout). This scribe also will reduce the font size at the end of lines to avoid having to go onto the next line (throughout)
Decoration In this unit there are in total 3 s, 1 .
