-
(Type: ReceiptNote)
Fol. 111v Receipt of money (borrowed?), insufficiently legible
Extras
-
Fol. 39r A symbol in red and black and a short text, ዝየ።መንፈቁ፡ ለዳዊት፡“here is half of Dawit,” enclosed in a black-ink rectangle mark the midpoint of the psalms
-
Overlooked words of text are written interlinearly ( folss. 10r, 14r, 19v, 23r, 35r, 41r, , etc.); and in the upper margin with a symbol (+) marking the location where the text is to be inserted ( f. 4vv, line 15 , f. 58v, line 20 , f. 63r, line 5 , f. 67r, line 4 , f. 89r, line 8 , f. 104v, line 10 )
-
The scribe regularly has to complete a line of text on another line. Much of the problem is addressed through the selection of an appropriate aspect ratio for the codex combined with an appropriate script size. But, where the line of text is still too long, the scribe completes the line of text above or below the end of the line (throughout). This scribe will also reduce the font size at the end of lines to avoid having to go onto the next line (throughout)
-
The general condition of the vellum is a bit dirty and stained but relatively unworn
-
Decoration In this unit there are in total 6 s, 1 .
