-
Overlooked words of text are written interlinearly (folss. 41r, 49v, 132r, 132v, 139v, 149r, , etc.); and overlooked lines of text are written interlinearly (38v, 64r, 123r, 134r, 142r, , etc.); and in the bottom margin with a symbol (┴) marking the location where the text is to be inserted ( f. 37r, line 16 ), and in another case where the symbol (+) is used in the upper margin ( f. 92r, line 3 , f. 157r, line 9 , f. 157v, line 6 , f. 160v, line 4 , f. 161r, line 16 , f. 161v, line 3 , f. 162r, line 5 , f. 163v, line 8 )
-
The scribe regularly has to complete a line of text on another line. Much of the problem is addressed through the selection of an appropriate aspect ratio for the codex combined with an appropriate script size. But, where the line of text is still too long, the scribe reduces the font size at the end of lines to avoid having to go onto the next line (throughout). This scribe also will complete the line of text above the end of the line (e.g., fols. 7v, 18v, 21r, 22v, 39v , etc.)
