Other
The Accademia dei Lincei was founded in 1603 by Federico Cesi. The library hosted orientalist texts since the beginning of its activities. In 1883 Prince Tommaso Corsini donated his library to the Accademia, when his Palace was bought by the Italian state. The Library is now hosted in this palace, in Rome. The Oriental Section ("Sezione Orientale") holds different collections. Notheworthy are the books donated by Leone Caetani, the materials collected by Michele Amari and the Carlo Conti-Rossini fund. The latter contains 147 Ethiopian manuscripts and Conti-Rossini's private correspondence.
