The note states that the Ms. was purchased and donated to the church by ʾabuna Gabra Mikāʾel. It mentions also his family members: his father ʾabuna Walda Śǝllāse, mother ʿUṣǝftä Dǝngǝl, wife Walatta Ḥǝywat, son Walda Mikāʾel and his sisters Ḫāyla Mikāʾel, Walatta Mikāʾel, Walatta Kidān. -

Condition
The Ms. was probably resewn; the sewing is damaged. The front board is broken and repaired. Traces of leather are visible on the inner side of the front board; traces of leather or discoloration are visible also on check the viewer4v and 123v. The attachment of the front board has been repaired with synthetic threads. Quire XI is misplaced, its original position must have been between quires IX and X according to the text. Many fols. are affected by humidity. Holes or tears amended on fols. 8, 43, 51.
Binding
Two wooden boards (front board broken and repaired). Two pairs of sewing stations.
Binding decoration
Small holes and tears are visible on the spine fold of the quires, close to the head and the tail of the codex.
