GueCopMen, vol. 2, p. 524) took place in 1894 year of mercy (= 1901/02 A.D.), in the year of Mark the Evangelist, during the reign of King Mǝnilǝk II (r. 1889-1913), when the teacher was mamhǝr Walda ʿAbiyä ʾƎgziʿ and his assistant was ʾalaqā ʾAśrat. -

It states that there are four plots of land with sorghum donated by four individuals (mentioned by name) for (the commemoration of ?) the Saviour of the World. One of the plots should be allocated as a salary for a deacon. Subsequently, it contains a directive which requires that if a new tabot is introduced, it should be dedicated to St George.

Condition
The Ms. is affected by humidity. The leather cover (hidden under the secondary textile cover) is probably for the most part missing; traces and remains of turn-ins are visible on the inner face of the front board and on the inner face of the back board, respectively. Holes are carefully amended on fols. 1, 2, 64.
Binding
Two wooden boards covered by reddish-brown leather (for the most part hidden under the secondary textile cover). Two pairs of sewing stations.
Binding decoration
Small holes are visible in the centrefold of the quires. The secondary textile cover is attached to the boards by means of recent synthetic threads.
