On check the viewer14vb , 23rb, Bäkaffa is mentioned as the reigning monarch (r. 1721-30); on check the viewer59rb , 172ra, ʾIyasu is mentioned (Iyasu II, r. 1730-55). On check the viewer51ra , 59rb, 171vb: Ṗeṭros is mentioned as the patriarch and Krǝsto(s)dolu as the metropolitan. Peter VI was Patriarch of Alexandria in 1718-26, and Krǝstodolu III was Metropolitan of Ethiopia in 1720-35. The Ms. was probably commenced during the reign of Bäkaffa and completed in the time of his successor. The mention of Ṗeṭros as the Patriarch of Alexandria is difficult to account for.Summary
