(2) check the viewer106vb : 7202 ʿamata ʿālam “year of the world” (= 1702 A.D.); 1702 ʿamata śǝggāwe (= 1709 A.D.); 1427 ʿamata samāʿtāt (= 1711 A.D.).) (Most probably part 1) concerns the calculation of the past 136 years and, hence, some historical events are mentioned. Part 2) indicates the calculation of the 63 years following the production of the Ms. The dates approximately coincide with the fact that Fāsiladas began to reign 77 years earlier which is mentioned on check the viewer92va .) Condition
The majority of fols. are stained with water. The spine cover and the leather cover of the back board are missing. f. 3 is of smaller in width. A hole carefully amended on check the viewer138 .
Binding
Two wooden boards covered with dark brown tooled leather (partly missing). Parchment inlays or remains of parchment pastedowns on the inner side of both boards. Two pairs of sewing stations.
