The original scribal hand has included a set of instructions for the recitation of certain Psalms: fols. 29r, (“Recite [psalm 35, ET] with honey and drink it and your enemy will flee”), 31r, (“recite [Psalm 37, ET] seven times with water in public”), 37r, (“When someone has hemorrhage, recite [Psalm 42, ET] seven times with salt and pepper and butter”), 42r, (“For eloquent speech, recite [Psalm 49, ET] with salt”), 44v, (“recite [Psalm 51, ET] seven times with lemon.”), 68r, (recite [Psalm 78, ET] with dates and your speech will become eloquent”), 76r, (“Recite [Psalm 85, ET] with holy water while pronouncing your enemy’s name and pour the water on your door and your enemy will go away”), 104r (“recite [Psalm 117, ET] with salt when you miss someone [who is gone away]”), etc.
