Overlooked words of text are written interlinearly (folss. 25v, 34r, 147r, 150r, 151v, 156v, , etc.); and overlooked lines of text are written interlinearly (1r, 7r, 17v, 31v, 36v, 41v, 59v, 61r, , etc.); and in the upper margin with a symbol (┴) marking the location where the text is to be inserted ( f. 155r, line 18 )
-
The scribe regularly has to complete a line of text on another line. Much of the problem is addressed through the selection of an appropriate aspect ratio for the codex combined with an appropriate script size. But, where the line of text is still too long, the scribe completes the line of text above the end of the line (throughout). This scribe will also reduce the font size at the end of lines to avoid having to go onto the next line (throughout)
-
The textblock of most folios is unscathed and remains quite clear. The vellum is clean and worn only a little
