gǝzätä ǝtwaggäzo , which I translated here as “I will denounce denunciation,” {actually, the transl. does not contain the word ‘denunciation’} might be an archaic one, meaning “to rule”, “to govern,” as in Amharic
gäzza , and is misunderstood by the author of the homily as “denounce”. The quotation, as given in The New Revised Standard Version, is “I will make him rule all the days of his life”.’
