Acquisition
According to the manuscript was acquired by Robert Curzon during his stay in Egypt in 1837-1838 . Three years after his death on 19 April 1876 the codex was given to the British Museum (later: British Library↗ ), then as a bequest from his daughter Darea in 13 October 1917
