Text in Amharic
The note, dated to 17th Tāḫśās 1935 A.M. (= December 26, 1942 A.D.), mentions the purchaser bāšāy Šahisan (?) Sanqe, the seller marigetā Ḥaddis Makʷannǝn (of) Māḫdara Māryām scribe , the judge and the witnesses. The Ms. was purchased for 35 Birr. It is crudely written in pen, in Amharic. There is a fingerprint at the end of the note.

The cover is worn and slightly damaged in the area of endband stitches. Many fols. are worn and stained with wax, soot and ashes. check the viewer45 is slightly torn. A hole is amended on check the viewer83 .
