Syllabary of the Ethiopic alphabet
Titles
- Ethiopic Syllabariumen
General description
Tables of the Ethiopic syllabary exist in two different orders of representation: ʾAbugidā Syllabarium follows the most widely used ordering system of the Semitic consonants, while Hāhu Syllabarium is inherited from the South Arabian tradition. Both tables are used in traditional schools for teaching reading, together with ፊደለ፡ ሐዋርያ፡.
