He was a metropolitan of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church who succeeded ʾabuna role: title Sāwiros↗ in 1102. However, as soon as he reached Ethiopia↗ his behaviour caused him to be arrested by the king of Ethiopia↗ by his infamous affairs and vile deeds. Then, he was sent back to Egypt↗ . He was succeeded by ʾabuna Mikāʾel [I]↗
