check the viewer123vb : ገብረ፡ ሥላሴ፡ ውሉዱ፡ ገብረ፡ አጽብሃ፡ ወለዓእማቲሁ፡ ወለተ፡ ተክለ፡ ሃይማኖት፡ ወለተ፡ ኪዳን፡ ለዝንቱ፡ መጽሐፍ፡ ዘወሀበታ፡ ለታቦተ፡ ጽዮን፡ አድሰቡሐ፡ ወለተ፡ ኪዳን፡ ካመ፡ ይኩና፡ መርሐ፡ ለመንግሥተ፡ ሰማያት፡ ለዓለመ፡ ዓለም፡ አሜን። The note states that Walatta Kidān donated the Ms. to Tabotä Ṣǝyon. The first part of the Additio seems to be part of a supplication formula in the main text, but the names are written in the same hand as Additio 1. It mentions Gabra Śǝllāse, his son Gabra ʾAṣbǝha and his maids Walatta Takla Hāymānot and Walatta Kidān.

Condition
The Ms. shows traces of extensive use; many fols. are stained with wax and dirt. The Ms. has been resewn. The leather cover has been cut off on the spine side to facilitate resewing. Rubricated passages are partly faded: e.g., check the viewer5rb , 6vab, 7rab, 7vb, 8rb. Holes or tears amended on check the viewer22 , 27, 46, 56, 65, 86.

Two wooden boards covered with reddish-brown tooled leather; textile inlays. Two pairs of sewing stations.

Small holes are visible at the spine fold of the quires, close to the head and the tail of the codex.
