B(1; s.l.: 1, stub after 1/fol. {200}). The gurad of quire A is made of a single folio folded lengthwise (fols. 1, 6); it originates from a different codex. In quire II, a fol. between fols. 16 and 17. is missing (torn off from its counterpart fol. 25); this fol. has been re-inserted in a different place of the Ms. and foliated as 183. In quire VII, fol. 68 has been cut in half; the other half has been re-inserted in a different place and foliated as 181. Quires XV-XVIII have been re-inserted in a wrong order. Many fols. within the quires are misplaced. The detached fols. from different quires have been collected and sewn together (fols. 175-185). f. 200 serving as an protective leaf originates from a different codex. It cannot be excluded that quires I-VII (Text I) and quires VIII-XX (Texts II-XV) previously belonged to two different codices (s. quire marks). |
