19th cent. According to Additio 1, the Ms. was donated during the reign of King Yoḥannǝs IV (r. 1872-89) and daǧǧāzmāč Sǝbḥāt (1844-1914). It might have been produced a bit earlier than the note was written down.Summary

Texts I-3 and I-8 include homilies unknown for the Dǝrsāna Mikāʾel (about ʾabuna Sāmuʾel and the plague and about John Chrysostom). The note, written in similar hand as the main hand, states that the Ms. was purchased and donated by Walda Gabrǝʾel during the time of King Yoḥannǝs IV (r. 1872-89) and daǧǧāzmāč Sǝbḥāt (1844-1914). It mentions also names of the family members and is followed by another eased note. -
Fol 112r-v: Kʷǝllomu śarāwita malāʾǝkt Manfasawǝyan… “All hosts of the spiritual angels…” (Hymn to God).
The hymn is crudely written and partly illegible.

Condition
The Ms. was crudely resewn, with the sewing stations used incorrectly. Half of the back board is cut off. The leather cover is preserved only at the spine and on the inner side of the front board. The text block and the two boards are crudely hold together by means of varous stitches at the spine. Holes and tears amended on fols. 9, 38, 48.

Two wooden boards covered with dark reddish-brown leather (quarter cover, now for the most part missing). Two pairs of sewing stations.
