Other persons listed include their mämḥǝr Qǝbʿa Krǝstos and their children. The genealogical part of the note is written in Amharic and apparently includes two distinct fragments, written in the same hand as the ownership note, but with two different kinds of red ink. The genealogical fragment mentions Doqǝma, a person also mentioned in the ownership note. -

He who steals it or erases (its text), he who removes it by force, he who sells it or buys it without permission shall be excommunicated like Arius by the authority of Peter and Paul. The two upper lines of the note are rubricated.

The binding is broken (rebinding of the Ms. was probably attempted more than once); the Ms. has fallen apart into two parts, loosely connected to each other. The text is incomplete. Some folios are missing, folios containing the Canon tables are turned upside down. check the viewer166 and 167 are misplaced; their proper places are between check the viewer32 and 33 (check the viewer166 ) and between check the viewer22 and 23 (check the viewer167 ). Parchment guards in quire I originate from a different, older Ms. (15th cent.?).
