It is written over the decoration marks of the original scribe, and an older ownership note. The note was probably written by the same scribe who introduced the donor’s names throughout the Ms. The Ms. was bought by the priests ʾabuna Walda Mikāʾel and ʾabuna Takla Hāymānot (possibly his son, cp. DMD-009) who donated it to the church of Yoḥannǝs Maṭmǝq of Dǝbla. Ras Sǝbḥāt (ʾAragāwi, governor of Tǝgray with the title of rās in the years 1892-95 and 1908-14) is also mentioned

The Ms. has possibly been rebound. Many fols. are stained with water. check the viewer220 is damaged by rodents, with minor loss of text. Traces of one stitch repair on fols. 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 (?).

Two wooden boards covered with reddish-brown tooled leather. Two pairs of sewing stations.

Two pairs of chains of endband stitches at the spine cover. Short parchment guards are inserted in the centre fold of some quires (check the viewer84-85 , 85-86, 144-145, 154-155, 223-224, 227-228).
