1400-1599 according to More than 1 PRS4805Grebaut PRS9530Tisseran 1449-1460 according to Carlo Conti Rossini Content Item 5 Commemorative list of disciples of ʾEwosṭātewos (CAe 4318) mentions the commemoration day of several individuals, among whom Yoḥannǝs of Dabra Bizan , who died in 1449. At the same time, it does not mention the commemoration day of other religious leaders of the second half of the 15th century.

15th century Some palaeographic features: ሎ has the loop marking the 7th order attached directly to the body of the letter, without the linking line; መ, ሠ, ቆ, ቶ, ዐ, የ, ደ, ጸ have angular shapes; the left stroke of በ and ዘ is slanted. The handwriting displays features of transition between the 15th-century script to the 16th-century script, cp. . More hands were involved in the writing.
