The Ms. was completed in the year of the world 7364 (= 1872 A.D.). King Yoḥannǝs IV (r. 1872-89), called ʿālam Sägäd, and Metropolitan ʾAtnatewos (1869-76) are also mentioned. The scribe was priest (qasis ) Ḫāyla ʾIyasus from the church of Dabra Nägäśt ʾAbrǝha wa-ʾAṣbǝḥa.

Condition
The sewing was repaired. The endbands are missing. Some fols. are worn. Decorations on the leather cover are mostly faded. Holes and tears carefully amended in fols. 5, 36, 44, 79, 102.
Binding
Two wooden boards covered with tooled brown leather cover; textile inlays. Two pairs of sewing stations.
Binding decoration
Small holes are visible in the centre fold of the quires, one close to the head and one close to the tail of the codex. The edges of the turn-ins are sewn together.
