Scribe: Gabra Waḥǝd scribe
Script: Ethiopic
Fine and carefulThe handwriting is fine and regular; the letters are right-sloping, slender, with a few distinctive features: - body of ደ and የ is often shaped as triangle - vowel markers are notably long in such letters as e.g. ሕ, ቡ, ቢ, ቲ, ኒ - short "hairlines" extending horizontal elements of some letters (e.g. መ, በ, ወ, የ, ደ) - the right loop of ማ, ሚ, ሠ and ሢ is of smaller size - the words እግዚአብሔር፡ and እግዚእ፡ are usually written with ligature. The handwriting is very similar to that of DZ-019.
Ink: Black, red
Rubrication: Nomina sacra; names of the donor and his family members; groups of lines on the incipit page, incipits of all sections and subsections; elements of the punctuation signs; elements of Ethiopic numerals.
