Period of Activity
He was the younger son of ʾabetohun role: title Yāʿqob and youngest grandson of Lǝbna Dǝngǝl . His name became prominent in Ethiopian history long years after his death because his son Susǝnyos , practically created a new branch of dynasty. He was one of the officers of the army of Ḥāmalmāl during the reign of Śarḍa Dǝngǝl . He rebelled against ʾaṣe role: title Śarḍa Dǝngǝl several times and finally he was pardoned and appointed as the governor of Qwārā↗ . He was killed by the Oromo and they captured his young son Susǝnyos whom they adopted as the son of the tribe.
