Elle se recontre dans les ‘Miracles du saint enfant CYRIAQUE (CYRICUS)’. Le traducteur du recueil hagiographique où étaient contenus ces miracles, ne trouvant pas en guèze le terme exact dont il avait besoin, a donné au vocable amharique ቈልመመ፡ la forme guèze ቆልመመ፡ . La substitution de ቆ (=ቀው) à ቈ donne lieu à une forme verbale d’apparence quinquilittère. En éthiopien classique les verbes quinquilittères ne se présentent pas à la forme radicale simple; ils sont précédés du préfixe አ qui forme syllabe avec la première radicale.
