This prayer is often recited after commemorative readings; it is usually included at the end of a Synaxarion Ms., cp. Apart from Mänäbäyti Ṣǝyon Māryām, the note mentions two other churches, Dabra Māryām and Dabra Takla Hāymānot (?). The latter is said to have been established by priest Gabra ʾƎsṭifānos Walda Mikāʾel. His wife is Walatta Madḫǝn, and his children are Gabra Takla Hāymānot, ʾƎgziʾ Haräya and Walatta Gabrǝʾel. The Ms. was bought with church money in the year of John the Evangelist 1936 A.M. (= 1942/43 A.D.). The note is nearly identical to Additio 2 in Ms. MSM-005.
