On check the viewer17va , 28ra, 28rb, 52ra, Fāsiladas (r. 1632-67) is mentioned as the reigning King. Marqos is mentioned as the Patriarch and Yoḥannǝs as the Metropolitan on check the viewer43vb . Marqos mentioned as the Patriarch and another Marqos as the Metropolitan on check the viewer52rb . Mark VI was Patriarch of Alexandria in 1645-60; Marqos III was Metropolitan of Ethiopia from 1635 to ca. 1648; Yoḥannǝs was one of the two bishops that arrived in Ethiopia to succeed Marqos III, but was never officially proclaimed Metropolitan.Summary

Ink: Black; red.
Rubrication: Nomina sacra; names of the King, Patriarch and Metropolitan; name of the owner; headings and incipits of the texts; directives for the ministers; abbreviations; elements of the punctuation signs and Ethiopic numerals. In fol. 11r, the text is written alternately in red and black lines. Occasionally incipits of other texts are also written alternately in red and black lines (s. fols. 78vb, 92ra, etc.).
