ተፈጸመ፡ ገድሉ፡ ለብፁዕ፡ ወለቅዱስ፡ ብእሴ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ አቡነ፡ ተክለ፡ ሃይማኖት፡ ጸሐየ፡ ዓለም፡ ሰባኬ፡ ግብር፡ ሐዲስ፡ ኮከበ፡ ገዳም፡ በጽጌ፡ አዕምሮ፡ ቅሱም። ረድኤተ፡ ዝንቱ፡ አብ፡ ይዕቀቦ፡ ለገብሩ፡ ተክለ፡ ጊዮርጊስ፡ ወለጸሐፊሁ፡ ገብረ፡ ዋህድ፡ ምስለ፡ አቡሁ፡ ወእሙ፡ ምስለ፡ አንባቢሁ፡ ወተርጓሚሁ፡ ወምስሌነ፡ አሜን፡ ይኩን፡
Translation English: The Vita of the blessed and saint man of God, our father Takla Hāymānot, the sun of the world, the preacher of the new deed, the star of the desert, who has tasted from the flower of wisdom, is completed. May the help of this father protect his servant Takla Giyorgis, and the scribe Gabra Wahǝd scribe , together with his father and his mother, with its reader and its interpreter, and with us (all). Amen. So be it.
