The traditional titles of the Psalms are missing.

The titles present in the Ms. correspond to those in the Hebrew Bible. The titles of many Pss. are preceded by the word ፍጻሜ („completion“, „end“), perhaps referring to the ending of the previous psalm.

    -v: Malkǝʾa Gabra Krǝstos “Image of Gabra Krǝstos”, incomplete.

    The text corresponds to the second part of Malkǝʾa Gabra Krǝstos (pp. 40-42 from the words ሰላም፡ ለከ፡ ሰላማዊ፡ መናኔ) which is included in the edition Gadla Gabra Krǝstos (in Gǝʿǝz and Amharic), Addis Abäba 1958 A.M. Written crudely in black ink.

    (the bottom margin): Historiographic note.

    Half of the note is effaced. Perhaps the note refers to the struggle between king Minas (ʾAdmas Sägäd) and his nephew Tazkāra Dǝngǝl (Tazkāro) in 1560/61. At the end, there is number ፶ወ፯.

    The note is crudely written crudely in black ink, the word ማርያም is rubricated.

    : Supplication prayer to Mary for the donor and his family.

    At the end of the prayer the baptismal names of the donor and members of his family are mentioned: Walda ʿAbiyä ʾƎgziʾ, Gabra Kidān, Walda Śǝllāse, Walatta Māryām, Takla Giyorgis, Walatta Muse, Walatta Giyorgis. Written in black ink; the majority of the baptismal names are rubricated.

    The note contains the baptismal names of the owner and members of his family: Walda ʿAbiyä ʾƎgziʾ, Walda Śǝllāse, Gabra Māryām, Gabra Kidān.

    : The Vita of St Roch (Roqo) followed by an ʾasmat-prayer.

    The Vita of St Roch (commemorated on 26 Miyāzyā) is identical to the one included in the edited Synaxarion (Maṣḥafa Sǝnkǝssar. Kä-mäggabit ǝskä ṗagʷǝmen, Addis Abäba 1993 EC). Saint Roch was given a covenant from Christ that those asking for his intercession will be spared from "pest" (ḥǝmamä bǝdbǝd). Сp. V. The Vita is followed by an ʾasmat-prayer for an individual called Walda Śǝllāse. The supplicant asks for saving him from barya, fera, nǝdad () and waba (

    ). Written in ink by a trained hand. The last six lines of the text are blurred but they are readable. In the upper margin, there are two captions, the one on the left being effaced.

    Written in angular script by a trained hand. The last 3 lines of the text in and the last 6 lines in

    are effaced.

  11. f. 147r

    : Supplication note.

    In the note, which follows the register of the feasts of the 12 Apostles, qes Bärḥe entreats for commemorating him. It is written in Amharic, in a poor hand.

Condition

Holes on 13, 14, 15, 31, 66. The majority of fols. are worn out and stained with wax. The leather cover of the spine is torn off and partly missing at the back side of the Ms. A tear carefully amended at the bottom of 150.

Binding

Two wooden boards covered with brown tooled leather. Overback made of tooled leather of somewhat different colour which is torn off and partly missing at the back board. Two pairs of sewing stations.

Two pairs of chains of endband stitches at the spine cover. A parchment guard has been inserted in the centrefold of quire XX.
