Condition
The chain-stitches on the spine of the first and second sewing station are broken in some points. The attachment between the lower board and the third and fourth sewing station is weak. The parchment is not well scraped because remains of tissues and hairs are present. Tears occurred during the manufacture are repaired using a thread of vegetal origin.
Binding
Ethiopic bookbindig with plain wooden boards.
Dark brown wooden boards with marked black irregular grain. The signs of the tool used for carving are clearly visible. There is a split in the thickness of the lower board due to an error occurred during the manufacture.Sewing Stations
4 Small holes are present close to the head and tail of the quires, prabably remains of the tackets. The first quire has a protective function.Binding material

Pricking
- (Subtype: pattern) The layout corresponds to the pattern I defined by D. Nosnitsin: the text is written above the first ruled line, the vertical and horizontal pricks are visible and they are located in the margins. On the lower margin of the bifolio fols. 47 - 52 is ruled an horizontal line, which probably indicated where the parchment had to be cut, in order to obtain the the bifolio. In other cases the perimeter is traced using a blue crayon or a pencil (fols. 107v, 108r).
