Takla Hāymānot II was king of Ethiopia in 1769-77, Patriarch John XVIII of Alexandria was in tenure in 1769-96, Metropolitan Yosab II of Ethiopia was in tenure in 1770-1803.Provenance
The names of the donors have been erased from all supplication formulas (s. check the viewer4rb , 9vb, 23vb, etc.). Apparently, their names are Zarʾa Krǝstos and Gabra Kidān (still readable on check the viewer48va ).

Condition
The Ms. is worn. The front board is missing; remnants of the leather cover and textile inlays are visible on the inner side of the back board. The Ms. is incomplete, some fols. from the beginning of Text I-1 are missing. f. 1 is preserved only in part. Many leaves are worn, stained with dirt or wax or badly damaged by humidity; on some fols. the text is hardly readable.

Two wooden boards (the front board is missing) covered with leather (for the most part missing). Two pairs of sewing stations.

Holes and tears are visible on the spine fold of the quires, close to the head and the tail of the codex.
