: ተፈጸመ፡ በሰላመ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ አመ፳ወ፯፡ ለጥር፡ ወበመዋዕሊሁ፡ ለንጉሥነ፡ ኃይለ፡ ሥላሴ፡ ወንግሥትነ፡ ወለተ፡ ጊዮርጊስ፡ ወእንዘ፡ ሊቀ፡ ጳጳስነ፡ አባ፡ ባስልዮስ፡ ወብፁዕ፡ ጳጳስነ፡ አባ፡ ዮሐንስ። ወእንዘ፡ ንቡረ፡ እድነ፡ ወልደ፡ ኢየሱስ፡ ወእንዘ፡ ገበዝነ፡ ተክለ፡ ሃይማኖት፡ በ፲፱፻፶፩ ዓ፡ ምሕ፡ {አክሱም} : It was completed by the peace of God on the 27th of Ṭǝrr during the reign of our King Ḫāyla Śǝllāse and our Queen Walatta Giyorgis, and while our Archbishop was ʾabbā Basǝlyos and our bishop his grace ʾabbā Yoḥannǝs, while our nǝbura ʾǝd Walda ʾIyasus and our gabaz Takla Hāymānot, on 1951 year of grace, ʾAksum. King Ḫāyla Śǝllāse I (r. 1930-1974); Wälätä Giyorgis, the baptismal name of ʾǝtege Mänän (1889-1962); Archbishop Basǝlyos became the first Patriarch of Ethiopia in 1956.
