Amen and amen. Let it be, let it be. Oh my fathers, do not forget me, each one (of you recite for me) the Paternoster. The name of his mother is Walatta Täkle, and the names of his brothers are Kidāna Māryām (and) Ḫaylu, his children are Gabra Ṣādǝq… He who erases (its text) or steals it shall be excommunicated by the authority of Peter and Paul. He bought it for his own money, for 30 bǝrr, in the Year of Mercy 1905, in the year of Matthew, in the month of Sane, on the 12th day. The Ms. was purchased by its donor on Sane 12, 1905 A.M. (= Thursday, June 19, 1913 A.D.).
