(?) ʾAbbā Matewos is mentioned as the patriarch ( liqa ṗāṗṗāsǝna) on check the viewer36va and 56rb; ʾabbā Sinodā is mentioned as the metropolitan (ṗāṗṗāsǝna) on check the viewer36va , 55ra, 56rb; Yoḥannǝs is mentioned as the king on check the viewer36va . They might be respectively patriarch Matthew IV (in tenure 1660-1675), metropolitan Sinodā (in tenure 1671/72-1692) and King Yoḥannǝs I (r. 1667-1682), but the paleographical evidence does not support a dating to the period 1671-1675.Provenance
The name of Qǝbʿa Krǝstos is written in the main hand in the supplication formulas on check the viewer30va , 37ra, 77ra. Several names are inserted in a secondary hand, interlineally, in the supplication formulas: Walda Giyorgis in dark grey ink on check the viewer37ra ; Gabra Māryām in deep brown ink, e.g., on check the viewer13va , 26vb, 37vb, 77ra (here over another name in dark grey ink, possibly Walda Giyorgis), 104vb. ? Walda ʾAnanya is mentioned in Additio 1.

Condition
The Ms. shows traces of intensive use. Half of the back board is missing. The leather cover is missing on the front board; remains of the leather cover are preserved on the upper part of the spine. Remains of glues are preserved on the inner side of the front board. The sewing is damaged along the spine. Quire XI is reinforced by parchment guards. Many leaves are stained with water, especially in the upper part (e.g., check the viewer7v , 38r, 113r), and with wax and dirt (e.g., check the viewer10r , 19v, 30r, 84v). check the viewer23 , 27-29 are severely worn with loss of text. Text on some leaves is illegible: e.g., check the viewer18ra , 20ra, 28r. Tear amended on check the viewer105r .
Binding
Two wooden boards (half of the back board is missing), the back cover is covered with reddish-brown leather; textile inlays. Three sewing stations. check the viewer108-113 are held together by a one-stitched repair.

Small holes are visible on the spine fold of the quires, close to the head and to the tail of the codex.
