Called Maṣḥafa ṭǝmqat in the incipit (check the viewer1r ). Contains an embedded colophon (check the viewer25v ) which mentions the Coptic, Arabic and Gǝʿǝz languages (but it is unclear, probably corrupted) and possibly the name of the scribe, ʾAṣfa Krǝstos scribe .Catalogue Bibliography

The Ms. is worn. Some folios are damaged by water (esp. fols. 2, 3, 4, 5). The Ms. has been resewn. Empty holes are visible in the centrefold of quire II (s. check the viewer9v-10r ).

Script: Ethiopic
Mediocre, irregular. The handwriting is characterized by angular, broad letters' shapes.
Ink: Black, vivid red.
Rubrication: Divine names; incipit; name of the scribe; directives to the ministers and their abbreviations; titles of the books to be read; ʾǝgale, qǝbāʾ; elements of the punctuation signs; elements of Ethiopic numerals.
Date: 19th century.
The scribe was possibly ʾA[ṣ]fa Krǝstos scribe who is mentioned on check the viewer25vb in the colophon of the work. The angular hand is similar in style to Zadǝngǝl of MR-040.19th century.Abbreviations
